New Tenant Resource for SD County Renters
Avoidable evictions can destabilize families, further a downward spiral of inequality, and increase health risks during the COVID pandemic. That is why Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer was proud to join her colleagues on the Board of Supervisors in voting to allocate $100 million in rental relief funds to San Diego County residents experiencing hardship due to the pandemic.
If you are a renter in the San Diego area, the San Diego Eviction Prevention Collaborative has recently launched a great new resource: housinghelpsd.org. The Housing Help SD site is built to help tenants to access available support programs and learn their rights ( CLICK HERE).
In addition, the Office of Supervisor Lawson-Remer is always here and ready to help connect you to Rental Relief and other resources, like grants for small businesses and non-profits. Please don’t hesitate to contact our office if you need assistance getting access to the services you need.
