Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer Remains Vice Chair, Nora Vargas Remains Chairwoman and Joel Anderson Continues to be Chair Pro Tempore
The Chair, Vice Chair, and Chair Pro Tempore for the San Diego County Board of Supervisors is now set. Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer will continue to be Vice Chair, Supervisor Nora Vargas will continue to be Chairwoman and Supervisor Joel Anderson will continue to be Chair Pro Tempore.
“Chairwoman Vargas with grace and compassion helped us navigate a difficult year of uncertainty, but she did not have the opportunity to lead a fully-seated Board of Supervisors. I wanted her to be able to lead this Board again, but this time under better circumstances, said Supervisor Lawson-Remer.
“I am honored to continue serving our County as the Board’s Vice Chair and look forward to moving our County toward a more just, equitable, and sustainable future for everyone,” Supervisor Lawson-Remer continued.
The positions of Chair, Vice Chair, and Chair Pro Tempore are selected for one year.
